WL-500gP antenna is just a joke

Today I just wanted to put my old Premium back in his box. During that, I disassembled the antenna and touched it. The rubber the antenna is made of is really old (from 2008 in my case) so it crumbled away. Ok, now take a look - it's just empty.



As the router was standing in front of a window all these years, the sun made one side age faster. So I now have a nice curve and that ugly hole. But the surprise is that there is nothing inside. Well I thought there is at least a cable, not a massive metal stick.
