I know its a BCM SoC, but which one? Is there a confirmation?

Thanks, that means (in my opinion) it not worth the changing.

    1. Probably will be a long wait until we see a Oleg FW for this model (RT-N66U a good example). I believe DD-WRT and Tomato being available a few days later after being selling on stores, but i would prefer Oleg so...
    2. The only changes are:
    - 4X more flash size (128MB) (for what?)
    - Probably a 64KB NVRAM (oleg does not need this)
    - AC radio, i would never need those bandwidths and if i would, i would need to pay alot €€€€€ for AC clients. (no thanks)
    - Higher price. (no thanks)
    - No MiniSD Card slot.

I prefer saving the money for the future BCM4709 router, not sure if Oleg will support it since it's a ARM chip, probably not. Maybe lly and themir0n can tell

And these are the reasons i prefer our firmware here, on top of openwrt and stuff... No worries about what is packed in the Firmware and does it fit. You want 1 GB program-data? No problem my partition is 2 GB.
Sure, flash-storage is faster than a hdd... but once a program is started, the messy stuff runs in RAM - there we need bigger chips - not more flash

With a BCM4706 (MIPS), TomatoUSB should only need drivers for the BCM4360 to get it working (or maybe some modifications to support 1300mbps).
With ARM architecture, it would probably be a ton of work to port it. And then you'd need to recompile the programs you want for ARM too (optware stuff).

Would be nice if it did happen though (but unlikely).
