I contacted Asus support to have more information about the RT-N76u and here is what they told me:
"I got information from sales team that RT-N76U just change the name to RT-N66U ..."

-> Asus hat den RT-N76U einfach in RT-N66U umbenannt (oder evtl einfach als ROG-Version neu verpackt)
