    Afterburner of any use?

    Is the afterburner of any use?
    Since the CPU cannot handle higher traffic...
    Or is it just a marketing trick?

    CPU is fast enough to handle afterburner traffic (35 Mbps at max).

    But 35 Mbps seems less then 54 Mbps to me...

    yes, this is the maximum data rate. for 54g it's about 27-28 Mbps.
