samba, ftp, I can`t get it running. PL Help!

Hi,

first of all my congratulations to this forum. It helped me a lot, but there are still 2 main parts i can´t get running: samba, ftp

this is running on my wl-500g:

but now its getting crazy, this what ls puts out in /tmp/harddisk/

[admin@dhcppc0 harddisk]$ ls

and part1-4 are only the ntfs partitions...




1.) via ftp i get connection, but there is an empty directory. Why?

2.) But the worst thing ist, i can´t get acces from windows to the harddisk (via telnet no problem). I tried to map the drive and used admin as user but it rejects and complains: user not valid

I can get to the wl-500g via network area but there is nothing shown, no drives, files, etc...

If I try to get there via explorer by \\ip\share$ it rejects me and complans about no access rights...

I read the whole post around here but no solution... Please help me...btw there are ntfs partitions on the extern hd, but I understood, that this problem should be solved by the newiest "oleg"
