    Sony TV with DLNA support

    Hello,
    I
have Sony 40w4500 TV with DLNA support. It can play mp3 and show images from DLNA server. I used the original ASUS firmware to share a folder "USB Application->Basic Config=>Enable Media Sever" and it worked. My TV showed the pictured and played mp3 files.
Now I have latest Oleg firmware. I don't see the media server in the webmenu. I installed ushare but the TV has problems with it. I see in the forums that there are a lot of problems with sony TV and DLNA servers.
Do you know what media server is used in the original ASUS firmware (it is the only one which worked till now) and is it present in the Oleg's firmware ?

There is none in the oleg firmware, but you can use twonky.

It will also work on your asus.

    Sony TV with DLNA support

    Thaks avberk,

I saw in the forums, that twonky has problems with Sony TV. It seems to be Sony problem. I alsready used another media server - ushare with dlna enabled.
Do you know what software was embedded in the original ASUS firmware. I suppose asus used some standard software and havent developed it internally ?
