Creative X-Fi external USB sound Card

Please how make this hardware working with Asus Wl-500gPV2 and Oleg firmware ?

In dmesg i have this:

hub.c: new USB device 00:03.1-1.1, assigned address 4
usb.c: not enough configurations
usb.c: unable to get device 4 configuration (error=-22)
hub.c: new USB device 00:03.1-1.1, assigned address 5
usb.c: not enough configurations
usb.c: unable to get device 5 configuration (error=-22)

Exist ipkg package with driver for x-fi soundcards ?

I don't think there is linux drivers support for creative x-fi sound card in 2.6.24 kernel..

you could try to compile alsa drivers, but there aren't any for this usb x-fi

I think you don't need any special drivers. My WL500gP works fine with the same soundcard. I play MP3 on it. It uses native (generic) USB-sound drivers.

Try to install something what uses sound, for example "madplay". Then it may say you, what's wrong.

ipkg update
ipkg install madplay

(Or something like this.)
