Can I use both dlink 614+ and wl500g?

I have a dlink 614+ and a wl500g. I currently only use the asus with regular FW. I was wondering if it would be possible to connect my DSL modem to the DLINK receive the wireless on my wl500g maybe by using WDS? Is this impossible? Should I just sell my 614+ and buy a second wl500g?

My goal is to have WPA WDS.

sure you can use both. You can use the 500g as your router/ap and the 614 as a door stop.
