Linksys WRT54G(S) - Asus WL-500G(X)

Hello,
at first, sorry about my shit english but i try it.

1. I think the Hardware (not USB) is identic Linksys - Asus
2. I read about to use Firmware for the Linksys WRT54GS on an Asus WL-500G (like the Brainslayer WRT-DD or sveasoft Firmware)

Have some People test it ????
Or tell me about the Chip contact for USB on the WRT54GS

And the last Question, please tell me about the diferent WL-500g - WL-500gx (like Chipset, RAM, and more)
