Need help about making wl500gP in to a web server

Hi, I'm new in all this and so far I've managed to boot from my external HDD, I also managed to made a swap part. of 512M (re mountable on reboot).
My desire is to make my router a machine that can download torrents and I want to place Joomla on it. My problems are:
1. After installing transmission I can't access the cgi from my web browser it might have some problems with my firewall or so, if any one has an idea what might be the problem please help I'll be very grateful.
2. Also I'd like to install apache, php and mysql on my router that I can later install Joomla (if its possible).

Joomla runs, but is't not the fastest 2~3 seconds wait per page display..


I've had it running under lighttpd/php/mysql.
