Factory default from ssh ?

Hi,

I'm running Oleg's fw 1.9.2.7 on my WL500g and could'nt enable ssh access from wan for some reason... after playing hours with the iptables in the post-firewall file, I tried to disable the firewall from the web interface for making sure the problem really came from that - bad idea; while the router still boots (wan et wireless leds lit and blinking), I cannot get any IP - seems booting hangs at some point and the DHCP server is not active.
I tried then to restore factory default settings using the restore button on the back as mentionned, but does help, the button seems inactive (my router fell off some time ago, could be that the button is damaged). I'd like to avoid the tftd emergency procedure; hopefully I can still ssh to the WL500g by manually assigning an IP to my wired PC, but how can I restore factory settings from there? Is there a command for doing that? The web interface does not respond, so this is my only chance of resetting the device...

found the answer alone: flashfs clear; I'm now gonna retry from scratch..
