Only Skype - no internet

Hi,

I am trying to connect my WL700gE to the internet through my BT Homehub. I have connected the two by ethernet cable and then connect my computer to the WL700gE via another ethernet cable. With this setup I am not able to access the internet but I am however able use Skype... I am sure that this is something that can be fixed in the settings of either the BT Homehub or the WL700gE, but have been unable to do so.
Anyone have the easy answer?

The reason is DNS.

Skype works even if your ISP's DNS is not resolving names (works with IP addresses). So fix you DNS configuration and/or set it up manually.
