I'm a bit confused about the possibilities to configure the wireless settings from the command line. I have some questions, and i would really appreciate it if someone could give me a hand (^_^)

1) is there a command with which I can test the settings of the nvram variables without having to reboot the device ? (in openwrt for example the "wifi" command does this job; it applies the settings of the wl0_ nvram variables)

2) Maybe "wlconf" is the right command for the above question, but I don't understand how wlconf works (does it read out and apply nvram variables ? if so, which ones ?)

3) is there a "wifi" command in oleg's firmware (to replace wlconf) ? In "http://oleg.wl500g.info/" under the description for 1.9.2.7-7g there's a reference to wifi ("Updated WiFi to 3.90.38.00") but I can't find it nowhere on my device.

4) in order to set authentication&encryption (wpa, tkip, aes ....) from the command line, are nvram variables the only way ?

Thanks a lot for any help!!
