Er bleek nog een tweede dns server op de apple gedefinieerd te zijn.
Voor het uitleggen van mijn probleem heb ik even de volgende beschrijving nodig.

I have exactly the same problem on my WL500g with the latest version of thttpd.
I see that you have libgd installed. It kills my thttpd server (actually anything that works with libgd) So if you have your scripts accessing libgd that might be the problem (firmware 7e)
I used it to generate captcha's

I experience the same problem. Posting larger stuff kills the server. As long as I serve simple php pages all is well, but as soon as I want to upload files of about 500 kb the server dies
It has been discussed before but no solution has been posted.
I seem to have the same problem with the latest php-thttpd packages (2.25b+php5.0.4) as posted by NABLA on my wl500g.
Whatever I do...
Nou na veel zoeken is het gelukt. Het probleem was dat thttpd onder nobody draait, en php dus ook. sqlite wil schrijfrechten hebben in /tmp (nergens iets over te vinden in de logfiles trouwens), en...

Left my supposedly dead wl500g (after flashing latest asus firmware) for 24 hours disconnected from the power source and magically it worked again. I guess depriving it of power clears the nvram also

OK, It seems that after some reading up on IP tables the problem is solved, but in a different way than the tutorials suggest.
I don't know a lot about iptables so any suggestions are welcome from...
I just posted a similar story for running a webserver on the WL500g. This seems to be at the heart of the WL500g.
I tried the suggestions earlier in the thread, but without success as well.
