Unfortunate some files are deleted from the internal HDD in the router. The úndelete'/restore tools I found on the internet were not able to detect the disk.

Did you try to use the "Firmware Upgrade", wait for 3 minutes (as indicated on the screen and powerdown the router. After powering up the new firmware should be active. I tried the same...
I had the same problem and tried also the register key fix. However had no luck and the only possibility was to access the files via ftp.
Yesterday I did look in more details to the solution...
