Not sure, but doesn't the NOPASSWD-tag solve your problem??
http://www.gratisoft.us/sudo/man/sudoers.html#nopasswd_and_passwd
I don't get it...
I've use kfurge's custom firmware and screwed up. To fix everything, I need to telnet to the router again. So I placed back the originale 1.4.6 firmware from Asus.
I have done...
/dev/null is not a valid homedir ;) (/dev/null is sort of the trashcan)..
change is to /home/user or something.. and make sure that dir does exist with proper ownership and permissions
Yes, I figured ;) However, my problem is... I cannot get to /opt ;)
My problem is probably in this:
# Run rc.local. Prefer the one out of reach by the file
# sharing applications. If not...
Right.. I'm having some trouble now :P
I installed kfurge's custom firmware and followed the instructions he wrote with it. All good and I first had Telnet and after that SSH access.. great!
...
Just followed your instructions....
I'm loving it! Thanks a lot!
Euh, I didn't buy the wl700g for BT. Don't use it actually ;)
I bought is because it runs Linux and has a internal harddisk. I figured this would make it an excellent firewall and a good backup...
I don't get it.. I have compiled several firmwares, but they never work..
Last one I only added telnetd, vi and login. Compile does not give any problems (I am compiling on a intel laptop).. But...
A firmware with Telnet (or even better SSHD) and compilers (gcc and so on) would definitly make me happy.. I don't realy care about the download machine and stuff... (and I can compile one myself ;)...
right.. I just compiled a new firmware (no problems here), and tried to put it on the 700g. But apparently something was not good.. now the router does not come into it's ready-state... I cannot ping...
I haven't been able to succesfully compile the firmware.. but have you tried running telnetd from inetd?
I do see options for this in the busybox menuconfig..
Don't forget to enable the inetd...
Die http://192.168.0.2/Main_AdmStatus_Content.asp is alleen voor een 500gp, I guess?
Jep!
Yes! A SSHD daemon would definitly be a good step in the right direction. I am currently running into multple bugs (routing problems and nfs problems) that can probably be easily solved if I had...
