Hi Leute,
wie kann ich meinen Router eingentlich wieder richtig Jungfräulich machen?
Hintergrund ist der das ich einen meiner WL-500gP jetzt an einen Freund weitergeben möchte.

Wollte nur mal fragen ob eure reparierten Netzteile noch funktionieren.

Mein Router zeigt nämlich einige Tage auch sehr komische Symptome, scheinbar ist auch mein NT nun soweit.

Ich nehme din der in pyload drin ist.
Mit nem anderen hab ich es noch garnicht probiert da ich ausser dem aus Busybox der die WebUI steuert keinen drausf habe.

Ja sind einige Dinge die geändert werden müssen.
Im Endeffekt läuft die installation inzwischen so ab:

1. Benötigte Pakete installieren (hat sich meines Wissens nach nichts geändert)
2. Download...

Pyload ist in Version 0.40 erschienen.

Kommt drauf an wieviel du hast.
Mit dem befehl free kannste ja auch schauen wie weit dein Speicher ausgereizt ist.

Wie sieht dein make problem denn aus?

Ich würde darauf tippen das deinem Router der Speicher ausgeht, das könnte man zumindest vermuten wenn man die Fehlermeldung bei Google sucht.

Hast du Swap Space auf der Festplatte für den Router?

Ich würde an deiner stelle erst einmal das richtige grep per ipkg installieren, denn auf deinem Router ist bestimmt nur die grep Variante aus Busybox drauf, die im funktionsumfang ja ein wenig...

Problem solved by a "ipkg install transmission -force-reinstall"

Yeah i know this tools, but this would only be a workaround for my problem.

If it worked in 1.92 it also has to work in 2.01 i think.

Just updated to 2.01 (via ipkg) some days ago, now i have the problem that i dont have any context menu in the Webgui anymore.
If i right click a torrent nothing happens.

Also wenn du keinen Zugang via SSH oder Telnet hast wird dir wohl nichts als ein Reset (über den kleinen Schalter auf der Rückseite) übrig bleiben.

Dann wirste nur deine ganzen Einstellungen noch...

Tried that already killed things like transmission and pyload an that dosen't increase the Lan speed.
So no need for such a risky operation at the open PCB of my WL- 500gP.

Okay worked.
After adding a suitable Firewall rule to post-firewall and the command dropbear -s to post-boot it now works.

Okay have to try that, but after my FW upgrade i wasnt able to connect to the router via ssh.
Could it be that dropbear in fw has overwritten my self installed one?
