I've got an 500G Deluxe with Oleg's firmware 1.9.2.7-7e and a cablemodem from Arris.

Now here's the thing: I'd like to be able to open my cablemodems webinterface but that's not possible...

if you format the harddrive to ext3 you will be able to store files with every size, with fat32 the filesize limit is 4GB.

Bút changing the filesystem won't solve the 2GB filesize limit when using...

This is what i know: it's not the filesystem! fat32 should handle 2GB< (but <4GB) files. The 700Ge's 2GB filesize limitationproblem lies in the software....

problem solved!!
i overclocked the cpu, at the same time (didn't knew that) i overclocked also the PCI cards. setting the FSB in the bios from 83.3/133.3 to 75/112 did the trick!

Everytime my ISP checks the modem (through the internet), the internet is working, but they won't do anything until they see the connection disappear...

there's only one small problem. My ISP (@home broadband) won't atmit that the modem is the problem. Not even when i sayd that i saw some errors in de log of the modem. -->...

maybe this helpes finding the cause: just a few minutes ago it happened again. But this time i looked more closely to the router, i saw the WAN-led turn of for like a second and then turn on...

the log hasn't been cleared, never. it (still) "goes" back to 3 days ago. only the moment that the internetconnection is disappearing is not in the log.
