What is the best firmware for me ?

I am new in this forum. First i want to say hello to all of you and to excuse my bad english. I have the yakumo wl hdd and my problem is that i can't do the settings i need. Now i have the asus firmware on the wl hdd.

I need following settings:

- install a printer and using the printer in my little wireless network (with the usb port of the wl hdd)
- use the wl hdd in my wireless network (now i can find the wl hdd but i can't access to the wl hdd. When i try to access a window comes and say: I'm not allowed to access. I should ask the administrator for rights. Is this because I'm using windows vista?)

It would be great when there is a firmware with a german language.
