Hi,
I have a Philips Webcam PCVC680 working on my ASUS WL-500g but
can only select between 160x120 and 320x240 but not the maximum of the camera which is 640x480.
Do I have any chance???
And how can I change setting like white Balance, Frame Rate etc??
Thanks
Martin
Hi specialists,
I´m new to this forum, but hopefully searched enough (through this forum) to come up with the following question:
Does anyone have any experience with one of the following USB webcams:
Philips, funcam, DMVC 300k/00
noname, using SPCA561.sys driver
?
So far I was not able to get one of em work with my WL-500g.
If not, How may support for one of those (preferably the Philips one) be 'implemented' into such custom-firmware? Is this possible at all?
hardware used: WL-500g-deluxe with 1940 firmware.
Thanks in advance,
Klaus
Using Oleg's firmware (BIG thanks to oleg for this excellent work!!!) I could get some more information on the Philips camera (at least):
For me it looks as if at least the manufacturer gets recognized (' registered new driver Philips webcam') but the driver is not (yet ?) capable of handling that special type of camerak with the router? Thanks in advance.Code:Jan 1 00:00:55 kernel: hub.c: new USB device 01:02.0-2, assigned address 2

Hi guys,
i've bought the wl-hdd 2.5 some weeks ago and i have upgraded the firmware with olegs one. (the newest one, 1.9.2.7-6)
Now i would like to know, which kind of webcams are supported with this version. I've connected two kinds of webcams (typhoon, and one older version of Logitech) but the IE said every time when i clicked on "preview": couldn't connect to server.
Whats wrong?
Am I too stupid, to connect the Webcam, or
did i use the wrong webcam??
Thanks
