WAN port reassignment

after a power surge my WL500gP WAN port stopped working. As I understand it's possible to configure one of the LAN ports as WAN port in OpenWRT. Is it possible to achieve this also with Oleg's FW?

Yes, in AP mode (access point) the wan port can be used
as an extra lan port. (oleg fw)

Sorry to interfere, but how is this helping you ? The question was about changing the functionality of a LAN port to WAN, not about using the WAN port as an additional switch port.
