Hi

Jesterday, i had again connektion problems with my DSL line.
With a direkt connektion to my PC its mostly something like no access concentrator or not accepted passwort. These are Provider problems and i can life with it as long as they come not too close :).

But my question, why does the Firmware of the 500g does not output any further error messages to the log ? It just stated "offline" in the dialog and didnīt accepted any reconnects.

About it I wonder if the wl500g reconnect automaticaly after being disconnected by isp ? :confused:

Sure he does. My DSL is disconnekted every 24h and it gets back online in a few secounds.
What im wondering is that the log gives no messages when login failes because of some error, which most time was "no access concentrator" aka no remote side "modem" found or passwort not accepted which mostly is a fault of the provider or a timeout because of too much login atempts per time.

Adding some output of the pppoe daemon to syslog would be quite nice.
