View Full Version : DONATIONS NEEDED FOR NEW FORUM LICENSE

hereby i'm asking all of you to make a (small) donation via paypal (via bank is possible but contact me privately)

the current amount of the donations made in the past are not enough to buy a new forum license, this is needed to be able to continue this forum otherwise it will shutdown :(

so I urgently ask everyone to see if they can miss a few euros(preferred) or dollars and donate them to the forum

donation for traffic/hosting is ok, but for the ForumSoft? Why don't you use something like phpBB?

the costs of the traffic/hosting per month is almost more than 1 license of the forum software (and yes i'm paying that out of my own pocket)

i rather take the forum offline than changing to phpbb
phpbb is nice and for free yes but has real disadvantages
i've tested phpbb before but it misses really a lot functionalities

beside that there is still no forum database convertor available for vB 3.x versions

I agree that this is very nice forum software (and forum). I was planning to make a donation anyway, so I guess now is the time.

Unfortunately, my coutry the stupid paypal system don't suported. I may send via bank wire, but this cost about 15Euros :(. I think when I will go to Eletronica in Mnichov, I will pay directly to account.

Is any other possibility for send money to support?

It would be nice to know how many, or which percentage, of the subscribed users of this forum are prepared to make a financial contribution. Is there any way of making a kind of poll to see a counter or percentage increasing everytime somebody makes a donation?

I hope enough users are prepared so that this fine forum can be continued.

uhm no idea, per post is not really preferred there are perhaps other people who like donations before it will reach me

per bank would be nice if possible, i have an IBAN number available if you want
