Do you think it's possible to install ipkg on the wl500g so you can use and install all WRT54g package on the routeur like php support or some over little thing.

I've read a thread, asking a similar question. In the thread there's a link to openwrt.org. On that page there's a description on how to install ipkg Packages using either the ipkg installer or a set of pipes using wget and tar.gz. 'Cause ipkg files are just renamed tar.gz archives.
So u only need to install wget.
