Problem rith ASUS WL-500 gP

Hey.

When i write 192.168.1.1 and press enter in my browser nothing happens!

I tried to reset the wouter by pressing the button at the rear of the router, but nothing happens.

When I try to update firmware via the "Firmware Restoration" application, with the newest firmware from asus.com, it returns with this message:

"No wireless device in recovery mode is found"

Can anyone please help me?

P.S: I reached the web interface a few times, but then when I got my 250gb hd, to download with, I cant reach the web interface. Ive tried to unplug the hd, but it still wont work.

Can you try ?
1. Disconnect DC power adapter
2. Push and hold the rear button (Recovery button)
3. While holding the button then re-connect DC power adapter
4. Still hold the button until the power LED is blinking
5. Release the button
6. Use firmware restoration to upload new firmware to router

Good luck.

I have tried all your ways, but nothing helps.
