No WLAN Access - please help

Hi,

I try to connect to my asus 700 using WLAN. Acessing the router by lan and calling the Status&LOg=>Wireless page (http://[router]/wstatus.asp)
shows me the MAC-Adress of my Notebook-WLAN (physically it connects), Associated - Yes, Authorized and WME-Link - No.

I do not use any access control. I have no idea where to change settings for authorizing WLAN-Client.

Does anybody have an idea?

do you use an encryption (wpa,wep) and have you added that to the wlan-client?

thanks for the reply. Yes I've added my WEP 128bit password to my client and the connection is also established. That's what the WLAN client says. But I can neither access the router nor the the internet.

If you have any ideas

P.S.: I upgraded the firmware to 1.0.4.6 -I hope nothing went wrong with that.

Hi,

I solved the problem. The key I entered in the client was not the generated hex key but the passfrase which I entered in the Router-Web-Interface.
