Update samba on oleg

i use oleg firmware on my wlhdd, great thanks for your job

But i wan't to update samba last version for use with vista

But how can i do

and if you've installed xinetd you can configure your samba server with SWAT

For vista i must use 3.0.22 or higher and i found only samba_3.0.14a-3_mip

It seems you can change the Authent. level of Vista if you set the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Contro l\Lsa\LmCompatibilityLevel from 3 to 1 to let it work with Samba 2.
I don't have Vista, so i can't try.

Yes we know. You just need to read smb.conf man page with

man smb.conf
If this does not work, you need to install man with

ipk install man

Or if you are using SWAT, the just klick appropriate page.
