Printer HP LaserJet2100 PCL6 and WL-500G ??

Hi everybody !
I'm a new member of this forum and also a new owner of a WL-500G since a few days.
I'm just finished the normal setup for the router, so far all ok.
But I can't get work my HP LaserJet 2100 to play with the Router on the
LPT-connector.
I had a w-linx-router befor and it worked perfectly.
The Printer is installed correctly and the wl500g recognized it and says "on-line".......but nothing happend if I try to print something !
So, I don't know....I'm not a computer-specialist.
Using Firmware 1.8.1.7 and Utilites-Version 1.3.0.0 (printer-wizard).
Anyone can advice me in setting up the printer/wl500g to work with ?

Hi,

I also have some problems with 1.8.1.7 firmware version, but it really works fine.
In order to print, you just have to create a LPR port on your PC, giving it the Router's IP address and name it LPRServer - which is the name of the queue in the WL500.

And now enjoy printing !

LPRServer was the key.....
Glad to keep my HP LaserJet2100 running.
Now I'm looking for a Cam to connect/work with the wl500g....the next step...

Sorry, I can't help you ! I've tried with an old one .... without success, cause of a too old webcam.

You can try FTP server with an usb disk, it really works fine !
