Hi, I will try to explain my problem shortly and then discuss it a little bit.

I have DeskJet 920c connected to my wl500gx running oleg's firmware 1.9.2.7-7e and I want it to appear at my computer running Debian Etch in a tool called hp-toolbox (part of the HPLIP project).

What I'm able to do: I can add this printer via CUPS web interface and here are informations from printers overview page:

Description: HP DeskJet 920c
Location: Obyvak
Make and Model: HP DeskJet 920C Foomatic/hpijs (recommended) - HPLIP 1.6.10
Printer State: idle, accepting jobs, published.
Device URI: socket://glottis:9100

You can notice the ppd is that with hplip enabled. Although I can print in my Gnome enviroment pretty well, when I start hp-toolbox it says that no hp printers were found.

That's strange, because I though that I will automaticaly see my printer here after I installed it in CUPS with hp backend. I did some packet capture and I saw, that hp-toolbox broadcasts a packet with service location protocol requesting info on x-hpnp-discover with no answer. I tried to search for my printer manualy by specifying ip address. No luck with it either, but I captured another packet requesting info on snmp object 1.3.6.1.4.1.11.2.3.9.1.1.7.0 with answer that it doesn't exists. Is it possible to use hp-toolbox and other hplip stuff with oleg's firmware? Or where I can have a problem?
