Hi,
For about 3 days i've been having problems with my WAN every time i start BitComet. Traffic is extremely slow, allot of packets get lost on the way... When i ping an external address everything seems to be good (low ping times, no packet loss) but when i ping a pc that is inside my LAN i get something like this:
[admin@(none) root]$ ping 192.168.1.10

I don't know why this happens. It started all of a sudden, i haven't made any changes to the router or pc settings.
Another thing that happens is that my pc loses connectivity with the router from time to time. Sometimes a rescan and connect helps, sometimes it doesn’t (sometimes after a rescan the wl500g doesn't show up on the list). After a short period of time or i restart the computer all goes back to normal (the computer is again connected to the router).
The pc i pinged from the router is 50cm away from the router, and my network card (ralink rt61 chipset made by edimax) shows both signal strength and link quality at 100%.
The slowdown caused by packet loss affects all of my network pcs (2 pcs with the rt61 network cards and a dell laptop), but i don't know if the other pcs share the same problem when it comes to losing connectivity, cause it happens randomly and usually after large periods of time.
My router has the 1.9.2.7-7a firmware. Can anyone help my with this problem, has anybody experienced something similar or has any idea that could solve this problems ? Thanks for reading this !!!
And another thing MERRY CHRISTMAS !!!
