I am using Twonky on my Asus WL500gx, running latest Oleg firmware, to serve video to my DSM-520 from an attached Western Digital Essential 320G USB drive.
After an hour or two of viewing, the film freezes and when I come to telnet into the Asus, to see what's going on, I am locked out. I also loose access to the Asus Web config pages. My only course of action at this stage has been to do a power on reset at the Asus.
As a test, I set 'top' running via telnet and left it open on my PC. When the 'freeze' next occured, 'top' was still running showing a process called 'init' taking up most of the CPU time. When I exited 'top' with ctrl-C, the telnet link was broken and I could not re-establish it.
Any ideas or suggestions anyone?
