View Full Version : NTP server anyone
I see that there's an NTP client.
What is its purpose?
Would it be reasonable to hope for an NTP server as well so all my machines can just use the wl500g to stay in sync?

ehm the same thing as you want to use it for?
if you've read the manual, you would have known that the board does not have a battery and thus not a realtimeclock
to synchronize the right time with your wl500g ofcourse..
and yes if you compile a ntp daemon for it it should be possible to use it

ehm... I know *that*. But what part(s) of the wl500g need(s) to know the time?
