Hi,
I have 1.7.5.6 (official), Home-Gateway-Mode, Firewall off, no DMZ.

Before using WL500g (means directly connected to the ADSL-Modem) I had no problems with WinXPpro and the Check Point VPN-1 SecureClient (Build82) to connect to my work.

Reading all the VPN-threads here shows me that WL500g is not really VPN-passthrough-ready. What do you think?

Does anybody have any suggestions for me?
Thanx-A-Lot in advance!
PaddyGree

(May be this would also solve my problems with icq: i'm online but i dont receive any messages)

Hi!

I have same Client and it works. But the Firewall needs to allow "NAT-Clients".
Get you a "User Logged in" or an Error??

Great to hear from you!

I just cant update the Site-Policy.
The diagnostic-tool shows the problem at the tunneling test (now i am at work and cant tell you more about the error-details).

What do you mean exactly with "the Firewall needs to allow NAT-Clients?

I fixed it myself. :)

The Reason was that Modem and Router were located in different subnets.
The Standard for wl500 is 192.168.1, and my Modem operates in 192.168.254.

I placed the Router into 192.168.254, and there it goes...

(I didnt thought this could be the Reason because everything else works fine even with different subnets, but the VPN-Client appeariently can't tunnel this configuration).

Hope this will help somebody in future...
