While in the Access Point mode you can configure the FTP options trough http://my.router/Advanced_USBStorage_Content.asp
And can connect with the FTP normally (ftp://my.router)
Tried with Firmware v1.7.5.6 CR5 (http://wl500g.info/showthread.php?t=446)
Maybe it is good idea to put a link (in the left tree of WL500g Web Manager) in the Custom Firmware from Oleg while in Access Point mode to http://my.router/Advanced_USBStorage_Content.asp because the FTP is working normally while in Access Point mode.
Maybe the Web Camera functions are also working trough http://10.0.0.150/Advanced_WebCam_Content.asp in de Access Point mode. But I can't test that because I haven't a compatible webcam.
