Hi,
my 500g does have the WAN port dieing problem (in router and home gateway mode, didn't try in AP mode).
I wonder, if it's possible, to use the 500g in router mode and set a static route (192.168.1.0/0.0.0.0) to my LAN-port. If I connect the 500g with the LAN port to my home router, wouldn't this work?
It's nearly the same as using it in AP mode, but then I could use the webcam and ftp disk.
Other question: is there a howto explaining how to install the custom firmwares and how to configure these?
I'm not an experienced linux guy... but have good basic knowledge (I would say).
