Hi guys,
Is it possible to install some simple NNTP server into the router with message bases stored on an USB stick?
Sorry if it's a stupid question, I'm new to tweaking the firmware.
Well, I'll try to concretize my question a bit. Has anybody tried it and got NO success for a reason that makes further tries absolutely pointless?
I'm trying to estimate is it worth to get into all this custom firmware building stuff :)
Based on all the other complex software that works on the WL-500g there is a good chance a simple nntp server will work.

P.S. If you know some other simple nntp server (besides leafnode and newsd and not cnews or inn of course) that has a builtin support for authentication, please let me know.
