Hi there,
I cannot figure out how to get FTP working with my router (wl500g).
I have a cable modem that is connected to my router. On my PC runs a simple FTP server. The router gives me an IP number (192.168.1.2). When I open a FTP session to my local IP address I get connected. But when I open a FTP session with the extern (WAN) IP address I get "connection lost by extern host" after some time. I have enabled the Virtual Server (NAT settings) in the Router. But I still cannot get connected, I think I have to set a specific item in the router. Can somebody help me PLEASE. I have tried to connect the cable modem directly to my PC and start up a FTP session, all that works fine. I will attach my configurations of my router. I hope te hear soon from somebody. Thanks anyway. My PC OS is WinXP
