hey everyone - seems I just keep asking questions ;-)
maybe I'm a dumbass when it comes to this specific router, but I am unable to set up any kind of NAT rules... when putting in for instance that ports 20-21 will be forwarded to an internal IP and all other WAN->LAN packets will be dropped, I am unable to access the internet - could it really be that I also have to forward port 80 to all internal machines, along with whatever else I need for every machine?
I was under the impression that all replies to traffic that originates from within the LAN will be accepted through the router - am I wrong?!
also a question about the filter time/date - if you reboot the router, will the filter then not be in effect until the time you have specified, even though all days are checked in the day field: for instance, if I have all days checked and the filter set for 00:00-23:59, and I reboot it at 20:00 - will the filter not take effect until the next day at 00:00?!
thanks,
LaB
Turns out I was a dumbass - hadn't defined anything in the NAT table ;-)
