Hi.
I'm trying to have my WL-500g-deluxe act as client to another access point, a TRENDnet TEW-310APB - an old thingy, but with bridge functionality.
The TRENDnet connected to the LAN interface of my firewall and can be set to run in either "Wireless Bridge" or "Multiple Bridge" mode. The channel is set to say channel 6.
And I've tried to have my Asus (firmware 1.9.5.0) connect to it without much luck. I've configured the Asus in "Access Point" operation mode as I'm only using it as LAN extender (disk and printer server). Under the "Wireless" tab I can either work in AP, WDS or HYBRID mode, here I've chosen WDS mode and I typed in the MAC address of the TRENDnet AP.
The "AIR" LEDs of the two APs does flicker rather synchronously even though my PC with wireless netcard connected to my Asus does not reach the world outside my Asus.
Can someone help me?
Btw this case is completely similar to the one described in http://wl500g.info/showthread.php?t=4220, except my Router1 is the TRENDnet TEW-310APB - and my wireless computer clients are connecting to only Router2 (Asus).
