Hi all,
I'm trying to use my Linksys PAP2 (like Sipura 2000) for VoIP with a WL500g.
The VoIP company tells me that I need to "open" a few ports for communication.
Their list consisted of the following (everything is correct except the numbers, which I have replaced by 1111, 2222, 3333, 4444)

1)destination port 1111(TCP) (scti server)

2)destination port [2222-2222] UDP

3)source port or destination port in range [3333-3333](UDP) (rtp)

5)destination port 4444 SIP (TCP/UDP)

Can anyone tell me how to do this in the WL500g?

best regards

have you tried using a STUN server already?

I use the Grandstream HT488 (behind the wl500g)
no portforwarding done on the wl500g

using stun takes care for your unit to discover in what sort of network it is (full cone, port restricted cone, etc etc) see also http://www.voip-info.org/wiki/index.php?page=STUN for more information

I have not been able to try the linksys PAP2 yet.. :(
didn't know it was so cheap (around 50 euro)
