UMTS connection

Hi

I've been searching around on the forum but I didn't find a final solution: does anyone uses WL500g to connect via UMTS/GPRS connection?
I've tried different firmwares:
oleg: doesn't contain anything about
-cdma: it does contain UMTS stuff, but I had to connect manually via telnet
asus' 1.9.5 cdma: supports only cdma

is there any better solution, such as auto connection or something usable via the web interface?


another question: has anyone ever tried openwrt on the wl500g?
