Hi,

I have searched for this on this forum and couldn't find it.
With a free account on dyndns a renewal is needed within every 30 days.

according to the website of dyndns:
"you may update 24-35 days after your previous update with the same IP address to "touch" the record and prevent it from expiring."

Is it possible to let the router update the account automatically ?

like this program does.

regards,

kraai.

if you have Oleg's fw, you can launch ez-ipupdate from your post-mount script
about ez-ipupdate configuration see: http://leaf.sourceforge.net/doc/guide/user-bering-uclibc/bucu-ezipupd.html there you can find the option "max-interval"
however you may want to consider to change to their static-dns service: http://www.dyndns.com/services/dns/statdns/
