Hi,
I am wondering how this encryption thing is working. If I set the WPA strong encryption what recources will the router use to encrypt/decrypt data? Is there some CPU inside the network adapter or will the main router CPU be used? If the last thing is true I should get lower throughput? Does this apply for wireless pc/laptop adapters? What recources do they use to make it secure?

Thanks

Use WPA PSK with AES and some nice 63 random PSK, the Broadcom CPU has support for this type of encryption in HW.. as for slowdowns, using 2 WL-500Gx I see no difference in speeds.
