Connecting a Router & Switch ??

Hi there,

a customer of mine has more then 4 computers he want's to connect to the
Internet. Know because most Routers + Wan have 4 ports ? I was thinking of
the following setup

Asus SL500 (this has 1 Wan + 4 Lan ports)
connected to
Asus GigaX 1008 (this has 8 Lan ports)

Will this work and will all computers be able to connect to the internet and each other ?

I know that this isn't about a WL500G (I have one myself at home)
But I Am sure someone around here will have the answer, so please forgive me.

of course it will work.

I don't know if SL-500 has auto cross-over functionality (WL-500g has), but if it has u can use any cable (straight or cross) between the router and the switch, otherwise you need to use a cross cable to link the two device.
