Swapped to WPA PSK is WEP OFF?

Is there an easy way to confirm my WL-500G is not transmitting WEP as well as WPA as the WPA settings do not cancel the WEP on the Router setup page?

The options for WEP dont dissapear when using WPA, with the talk of simultaneous use of WEP & WPA. I dont want to set the WEP options for none (when using WPA) because I dont want the risk of enabling unwanted WEP connections in the clear when I only want WPA.

Is WEP disabled when using WPA?

Does setting the option for WEP to 'None' disable WEP or allow the router to allow unencrypted access via WEP?

Enable WPA and set WEP to none. This way WEP is disabled.
