Bekijk de volledige versie : LLTD Daemon and Window 7?
Just curious, is the LLTD daemon compatible with the LLTD service found in Windows 7, as attempting to view the Network map always fails, suggesting an incompatible router.
Currently using WL500GPv2 + WL500gpv2-1.9.2.7-rtn-r2775. The Responder is enabled.
I can find my other computers in my network without a problem:confused:
Hi wpte.
I have no problem finding other devices, including the router (assuming upnp is enabled on the router) when simply browsing the network. What I'm referring to is the option found under Network and sharing Centre. This uses LLTD to build the map. See image
Edit: Interestingly, the router is communicating with the PC through LLTD, however, it's also sending a lld2d warning message. Could this be a cause of the problem? (See Image)
ah that...
Windows doesn't pop up a warning message that it can't enlist all devices, it actually works fine.

including ipv6 address discovery
Testing this on a RT-N16 btw
It turned out to be the third-party firewall I was using. I removed it as a test and it all worked. seems it's a known problem with this firewall.
Decided to do a completely fresh install of Windows 7...

yep, changes in short:
1. refresh AP wireless clients if requested, but not for the first time only
2. report IPv6 link local address instead of global one
3. report itself as root AP, no actual repeaters supported yet
it solves "unknown" node issue for wireless clients
