Hello,
I recently bought a WL-HDD and am hoping to use it as a wireless fileserver to stream AVI movies directly to an ipad using the Ipad app VLC streamer.

VLC streamer (http://hobbyistsoftware.com/VLCStreamer-more) lets you stream movies from a computer but i have been struggling to configure the WL-HDD to do the same.

Has anyone on here done this before?
Im presuming i need to flash to Olegs firmware first, what else needs to be done after that?

Thanks in advance.
Bo

hi bo
have you jailbroken your ipad?
i did that and installed xbmc for ios
then i configured the wl-hdd's built-in samba
and access video files stored on wl-hdd from xbmc
both avi files and mkv files working for me
standard-definition files work flawlessly
720P files will play but are a little bit laggy especially the hi-bitrate ones
for xbmc installation guide do some googling using key word"xbmc ios"
hope this will help
