Hi,
I need some help with settings of my wl500g. I have firmware 1.9.2.7-5a.
I would like to connect to AP, but AP gets automaticly IP etc. to my ASUS.
I don`t know how to set my wireless connection on ASUS.
I put some screens at http://pinceau.wz.cz.
Can anyone help?
Thanks in advanced

? what do you exactly want?
draw your network please (use visio or something)
and specify exactly what you want
There is AP (SSID: CZFree.Net.Tone) and the AP assigns (generate) automaticly IP to my router. Behind the router I have 2 PC`s with IP (192.168.1.20 and 192.168.1.30). Router has default IP for LAN (192.168.1.1). DHCP for LAN is disabled.
So I need receive an IP for my router from AP.
I don`t know how to reach this settings.
Is it clear now?
I think you should setup the router as 'home gateway router'.
'home gateway router' is a default setting
'home gateway router' is a default setting
Yes? What's your point?
Edit: Oh sorry, I see now what you mean. You want to be a client of an AP. Completely missed that. Anyway I think you need to setup your router in WDS mode in this case.
Can I sen you a results from Telnet?
ifconfig, route, wl status, iptables -L -v?

Not to me, I wouldn't know what to do with that :o
I think you should grab your users manual and follow the instructions for setting up the router in WDS mode. That should get you up to speed.
No WDS is required, just switch wl500g to the client mode. Select Ethernet Bridge or Station in the Wireless Extended Mode field.

This setting I had... But I could not find my AP. In Status-Wireless there is one MAC address but in Status-IP I could not receive any IP from AP...
Do you use WEP? If so, use HEX wep key, not passphrase.
