Does anyone know if there's any available software for linux that could be recompiled for use on a WL500g that can control USB Cameras (not webcams) and get them to take a picture, transfer that picture to the host (which could then upload it somewhere else via ftp or store it locally) and then finally remove the photo that was just taken from the camera (so as not to fill the cameras memory up).
It's a long shot, but i though I'd ask because I've always wanted to do something like this ever since I had my first digital camera years ago.
Yes, i know you can do it with webcams, but they're all bad quality - unless anyone knows of a proper camera which has a webcam mode that might also work?
