I have a problem with using Custon DNS with the 1.9.2.7-5a firmware.
I know DynDns updates are working, as I can update a ?.dnsalias.org host, but not a ?.co.uk host. Both hosts belong to the same Dyndns account.
The only field which gets changed when trying to update either host is the Host Name on the router.
If I try and update the ?.co.uk account I get a "ddns update: invalid hostname: ?.co.uk error".
Anyone got an idea what the problem is. Is this a problem with the ddns client software in the firmware, or a possible configuration problem.
P.S. the custom firmware make a really good router an excellent one. My router is now running with SAMBA using a Maxtor 5000XT, which I don't think anyone else has logged as compatible.
